METEOR SHOWER NIGHT at Tornik – 12 August

From an afternoon market and activities for the youngest visitors to an evening beneath the stars at the top of Tornik, we've prepared a programme for all generations and for everyone looking to swap their everyday routine for nature, tranquillity and a truly different experience.

14:00–22:00 | Market of Traditional and Natural Products – Intermediate Station

Take a stroll around the market, meet local producers and discover products inspired by the traditions and natural heritage of Zlatibor. Try your hand at traditional crafts and enjoy free relaxation workshops.

19:00–21:00 | Children's Astronomy Workshop “Making a Sundial” – Intermediate Station

Young explorers will have the opportunity to step into the world of astronomy through play and creativity. Places are limited, and registration is available on 11 and 12 August at the Gondola Showroom in Trgovačka Street and at the gondola ticket office.

Workshop participants should board the gondola between 18:30 and 19:00.

22:00–01:00 | Meteor Shower Night – Tornik

At the Gondola Bar terrace, you can look forward to a talk by astronomer Branko Simonović, followed by a shared observation of the meteor shower.

Far from city lights, at almost 1,500 metres above sea level, surrounded by forest and silence, Tornik becomes a place where the night sky can be experienced in a completely different way.

For the evening programme, the gondola must be boarded no later than 21:30, while return journeys from Tornik will be available from midnight. Warmer clothing is recommended, as mountain evenings can be chilly.
