Gondola Ethno Vibe – Where Nature, Heritage and Contemporary Lifestyle Meet

Today, Zlatibor is one of the most visited mountain destinations in Serbia and the wider region. Just a two-hour drive from Belgrade, it continues to preserve vast areas of unspoilt nature, peaceful surroundings and sweeping landscapes that have defined the mountain for generations.

Connecting Zlatibor's vibrant town centre with these tranquil, authentic surroundings is the Gold Gondola Zlatibor – the world's longest panoramic gondola and one of the leading tourist attractions in this part of Europe. The gondola links the heart of Zlatibor with Tornik Peak, offering visitors a journey through some of the mountain's most spectacular scenery.

As the gondola glides across the landscape, the scenery gradually transforms from the lively resort centre into open mountain vistas, pristine forests and protected natural areas. The route passes through the famous "Rose of the Winds" zone, where continental and Mediterranean air currents meet, creating the distinctive mountain climate for which Zlatibor has long been renowned and valued for its health benefits.

Halfway between the town centre and Tornik Peak, beside the shores of Ribnica Lake and within the protected Nature Park, Gondola Ethno Vibe will return from 8–12 August, bringing visitors a truly distinctive summer experience.

Rather than a traditional festival or seasonal market, Gondola Ethno Vibe has been conceived as an immersive celebration of place, bringing together cultural heritage and contemporary creativity through gastronomy, art, design, fashion and modern lifestyle.

At a time when travel is increasingly defined by fast-paced experiences and mass tourism, Gondola Ethno Vibe offers something different: authenticity, a slower rhythm of life, meaningful experiences and memorable encounters.

The event celebrates centuries-old traditions alongside contemporary culture and creativity, showcasing authentic flavours, handcrafted products, artisan craftsmanship and modern design inspired by the heritage of the Zlatibor region. Carefully selected exhibitors will present artisan goods, contemporary fashion, natural cosmetics, local food and wellness concepts, creating an inspiring environment where visitors can discover, taste and purchase unique products to take home.

Here, tradition is not presented as a relic of the past, but as something vibrant, relevant and naturally woven into contemporary living.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience traditional Zlatibor cuisine reinterpreted by leading chefs, while meeting local producers, artists and designers who transform regional identity into products and experiences with a distinctly modern character. A dedicated fashion showcase will feature clothing, accessories and lifestyle products inspired by traditional motifs and reimagined through contemporary design.

From carefully curated exhibitors and authentic local flavours to open-air relaxation areas and experiences focused on wellbeing, inner balance and quality of life, Gondola Ethno Vibe offers an atmosphere that is both inspiring and restorative. This year's edition will also introduce a special programme inspired by today's longevity movement—values that Zlatibor has embodied for decades through its climate, natural surroundings and healthy way of life.

Even in its inaugural year, the festival attracted artists, designers, chefs and representatives of the contemporary lifestyle scene, all recognising its authenticity and its potential to become one of the region's most distinctive mountain events.

More than simply a festival, Gondola Ethno Vibe is a sensory and emotional journey through the flavours, aromas, traditions, landscapes and spirit of Zlatibor.

Perhaps that is why, after its very first edition, the event was remembered not simply as a festival, but as a feeling—a day spent between the sky and the lake, surrounded by fresh mountain air, exceptional food and people who believe that tradition and contemporary life can exist in perfect harmony.

The full programme and participating exhibitors will be announced gradually in the coming weeks. Artisans, producers, designers and creative businesses interested in exhibiting can find information about participation opportunities and exhibition space rental. As the number of exhibition spaces is limited, interest in this year's edition is already growing.

Further information about the event, including ticket availability, will be announced soon at https://gondolaethnovibe.rs/.
