Japanese Ambassador Impressed by the Gondola

The Ambassador of Japan to Serbia, Imamura Akira, visited Zlatibor in conjunction with the “Day of Japanese Culture” event at the Zlatibor Cultural Center. He took the opportunity to explore the attractive locations on Serbia's most visited mountain, with the Gold Gondola leaving a special impression.

"I'm very excited about the beautiful view from the gondola cabin, and I can say that this is the best panoramic gondola in the world. Not only the gondola's length, but also the beauty of nature and the landscape. Thank you for this experience; I truly enjoyed it. I hope that Japanese volunteers will assist in the development of tourism in Zlatibor," Ambassador Imamura stated.

The unique “Day of Japanese Culture” event was organized by the Zlatibor Tourist Organization in collaboration with the Japanese government's JICA organization. Visitors were introduced to the culture of this distant Asian country through creative workshops on origami, Japanese calligraphy, traditional Japanese clothing, and other activities.
